Domaine Charlopin-Tissier is a young winery in Burgundy, founded in 2013 by Yann Charlopin and Justine Tissier. On 4 hectares of vineyards in top locations such as Gevrey-Chambertin and Vosne-Romanée, they produce elegant, classic wines of the highest quality, modelled on Yann's mentor Jean-Marie Fourrier. Only organic manual labour is practised in the vineyard. Vinification is based on complete destemming, cold maceration, natural yeasts and long maturation on fine lees. The wines need a lot of time to develop, but then convince with finesse and inner luminosity.
